Aeration is the process of increasing the oxygen content in the air environment, with the aim of making the living organisms in it grow healthier and faster. The nutrients or feed you add to your pond causes a lower demand for oxygen in the air, especially in hot weather, higher DO (dissolved oxygen) levels, and can create conditions that can kill shrimp growth and algae growth.
